Graduate Women International (GWI) advocates for women’s rights, equality and empowerment through access to quality secondary and tertiary education, and training up to the highest levels. Our vision is 100% of girls and women in the world achieving education beyond primary school.

WG-USA, by its membership in Graduate Women International, provides opportunities for member participation at the United Nations on a variety of issues. These involve United Nations (UN) Agreements, UN Conventions and Declarations, and UN policy discussions relating to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) which end in 2015, the 2030 Sustainable Development Agenda, and the Beijing Platform for Action (Beijing +20).
