Online Discussion on Quality Education
19 May - 15 June 2008
From 19 May to 15 June 2008, IFUW held an online discussion examining the question "What constitutes quality education?" The purpose of this discussion was to identify, in different countries and societies, the features of quality education and the commitment to its provision. The discussion focused on four key areas:
- Definitions of quality education
- Overcoming barriers to quality education
- Promoting quality education
- The state's obligations in achieving quality education
What does "quality education" mean to you? What barriers still exist? Are there successful strategies from your country to share with IFUW members from other parts of the world? We want to hear from you and we encourage all IFUW members to join in this important debate.
The discussion period has now passed. A link to the results of the discussion will be posted when it is available.
