AGM 2011
Our Neighborhood... the world

Annual General Meeting 2011 (AGM 2011)

September 16-18. 2011
Minneapolis, MN

Women Graduates-USA will hold its 4th Annual General Meeting on September 16-18 in Minneapolis, MN.

“Our Neighborhood…the World” is the theme chosen for the Conference that begins Friday at 11:30 a.m. and ends Sunday at noon. In a shrinking world where a crisis in one hemisphere can cause gigantic upheaval in other hemispheres; where a suicide by one street vendor leads to street protests by millions of people, and ultimately change in government; where posting a picture on the web can lead to imprisonment in another country; and where a civil war in one place affects stability throughout an entire continent, a conference that focuses on the idea of “neighborhood” may be both unusual and singularly appropriate.

We especially invite those members of other organizations who are also focused on the issues of CEDAW ratification, education of the girl child, and stopping human trafficking.

The conference is taking place at the University Radisson Hotel located on the Minneapolis campus of the University of Minnesota. (see below).
