AGM 2010

WG-USA ACTION POINTS
3rd Annual General Meeting
September 25, 2010

1. Mariane Hasselgrave, newly elected President of IFUW, sent greetings to WG-USA members at their 3rd Annual General Meeting and added that she is pleased to be a concurrent member of WG-USA.
   
2. New officers elected were: Diane Haney-Secretary, Carolyn Cowgill-Membership Convener, and Jackie Shahzadi-Board Member at large.
3. The Audit Committee reported that the Financials for Women Graduates-USA are in good order.
4. The Development Committee and the Board were given the support of those at the AGM to go forward with a fund raising project to support an IFUW affiliate from a developing country which has not paid its dues to IFUW and is in danger of dropping out.
5. IFUW Resolutions 4, 5, and 9 dealing with human trafficking, peacekeeping, and immigration were announced as priorities for WG-USA.
6. All members were invited to the next Annual General Meeting in Minneapolis-St. Paul in September or October, 2011.
7. Presenters of the AGM Program were: Janet Heinicke-Program Committee Convener, Alice Dahle-CEDAW (Commission on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women), Camille MacDonald Polski- Human Trafficking, and  Jackie Shahzadi-Access to Education.
